1. Who we are
Sendways & Co operates a community delivery marketplace that connects senders with travelers. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and mobile applications (collectively, "the Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By registering, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract and that all information you provide is accurate and current.
3. The Platform and our role
Sendways & Co provides a technology platform that facilitates connections between senders and travelers. We are not a courier company, freight forwarder, or logistics provider. We do not take possession of any items and are not party to the delivery agreement between a sender and a traveler.
Travelers are independent individuals, not employees or agents of Sendways & Co. Each delivery is a private agreement between the sender and the traveler.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for all activity on your account. Keep your password secure and do not share access with anyone else. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at support@sendwaysco.com.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, provide false information, or engage in fraudulent activity.
5. Responsibilities of travelers
- •Only accept items you have personally inspected and whose contents you know.
- •Ensure all accepted items comply with aviation security regulations and the customs laws of both origin and destination countries.
- •Declare all carried goods to customs as required by law.
- •Never carry items for people you have not verified through the Platform.
- •Refuse any item that seems suspicious, regardless of what the sender claims it contains.
6. Responsibilities of senders
- •Provide accurate descriptions of items including weight, dimensions, and contents.
- •Declare the honest value of every item.
- •Only send items that are legal in both the country of origin and the destination country.
- •Never send prohibited items as listed in our Prohibited Items policy.
- •Package items securely so they do not damage a traveler's other belongings.
7. Prohibited conduct
You may not use the Platform to:
- •Send or carry illegal goods of any kind.
- •Circumvent customs declarations or duties.
- •Misrepresent item contents or value.
- •Harass, threaten, or deceive other users.
- •Create multiple accounts to evade suspensions.
- •Scrape, copy, or redistribute Platform data without permission.
8. Payments and fees
Delivery fees are agreed between senders and travelers. Sendways & Co charges a service fee on completed transactions. All fees are displayed before payment is processed. Payments are held until delivery is confirmed by both parties.
Refund eligibility depends on when and why a delivery did not occur.
9. Liability limitations
Sendways & Co is not liable for lost, damaged, or seized items. We are not responsible for customs penalties, fines, or legal consequences arising from items sent through the Platform. All risk of loss or damage is between the sender and the traveler.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sendways & Co's total liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of the Platform is limited to the amount you paid in service fees in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
