Your delivery fee is one of the most important decisions you make as a traveler on Sendways. It determines how much you earn and which senders choose you over other travelers.

Start with your route's going rate. Browse existing traveler listings on your route. What are other verified travelers charging per kilogram? Your initial fee should be in the same range until you have a track record of reviews.

Factor in your baggage allowance. If your airline ticket includes 30 kg of checked luggage and you only need 20 kg for your personal items, you have 10 kg to sell. If a checked bag costs extra (budget airlines), that cost should be reflected in your fee.

Account for your time. Meeting senders before the trip, packing their items carefully in your luggage, and making drop-off arrangements at the destination all take time. Your fee compensates for that time, not just the weight.

Premium pricing factors. Travelers with 10+ five-star reviews, who offer door-to-door delivery (rather than meet-at-airport), and who can accept items on short notice all reasonably charge 20-30% above the route average.

Avoid race-to-the-bottom pricing. Extremely low fees attract low-effort senders who pack poorly and are slow to respond. A moderate fee with good reviews attracts better senders and makes the whole experience more pleasant.

Adjust seasonally. Around major holidays, such as Christmas, Eid, and summer school holidays, sender demand spikes and you can charge more. In quiet periods, a slightly lower fee keeps your listing active.

Be transparent about what is included. State clearly whether you offer home delivery or airport pickup only, which airline you are flying (affects baggage rules), and whether you can accommodate fragile items.
