How to manage multiple deliveries on one trip

Taking more than one delivery per trip multiplies your earnings. It also multiplies the organisation required.

Experienced Sendways travelers regularly carry three, four, or even five sender packages on a single trip. The economics are compelling; each additional kilogram multiplies your per-trip earnings. But the logistics require care.

Accept only deliveries going to the same city, ideally the same neighbourhood. A Lagos delivery and an Abuja delivery on the same trip makes no sense. Group by destination area and plan your drop-off route before you travel.

Map all drop-offs before you leave. Use any mapping app to mark all recipient addresses. Identify the most efficient order. Account for traffic patterns at your arrival time.

Label packages clearly inside your luggage. If you have four packages, each should be clearly marked in a way that distinguishes it from the others. A sticky label with the recipient's name works. This matters most if customs asks you to open your bag.

Stagger handoff times when accepting. Do not arrange six sender handoffs at the same time. Space them 20-30 minutes apart. One sender running late should not cascade into missed flights.

Communicate arrival updates to all recipients simultaneously. A brief message to all recipients, for example "Landed, will begin deliveries at 2pm", sets expectations and keeps everyone in the loop with one action.

Complete deliveries in order of urgency. If one sender paid a premium for fast delivery, prioritise that drop-off. Respect the agreements you made when accepting each booking.
