How to build a five-star traveler reputation on Sendways

Your reputation is your most valuable asset on the platform. These habits earn five-star reviews consistently.

On a community platform, your rating is your business. A traveler with 50 five-star reviews can charge premium fees and attracts senders proactively. A traveler with mixed reviews struggles to fill their capacity.

Communicate proactively. Message senders before the trip to confirm details. Message when you have landed. Message when you are heading to drop-off. Senders who feel informed leave good reviews.

Be accurate about capacity. Never accept more weight than you can carry. Cancelling a booking because of an overweight bag is one of the fastest ways to collect negative reviews.

Deliver exactly what you promised. If you advertised door-to-door delivery, deliver door-to-door. If you said you would arrive Tuesday, arrive Tuesday or communicate any changes early.

Handle the handoff professionally. Weigh packages in front of the sender. Take photos together. Confirm everything in the app. A professional handoff signals to the sender that their item is in safe hands.

Respond to messages quickly. Travelers who take more than 24 hours to respond to sender messages consistently receive lower ratings. If you are traveling and have limited connectivity, set that expectation upfront.

Be honest about problems. If your flight is delayed and you cannot deliver on the agreed day, tell the sender immediately. Senders appreciate honesty.

Ask for a review. After a successful delivery, a polite in app message, such as "Hope the item arrived safely, please leave a review if you're happy", significantly increases review rates.
