Your first delivery on Sendways: a complete walkthrough

Your first delivery on Sendways is simpler than it looks. Here is the full flow from account setup to payment landing in your account.

Step 1: Complete your profile. Upload a clear photo of your face, write two or three sentences about yourself, and list your home city. Senders read profiles before booking, so a complete one converts better.

Step 2: Complete identity verification. Go to Account and follow the verification flow. You will need a government-issued ID and a selfie. This is required before you can accept bookings.

Step 3: Connect a payout method. Add your bank account or preferred payout method in Account settings. You cannot receive payment without this.

Step 4: Post your trip. Tap "Post a trip." Enter your departure city, destination, travel date, available weight in kilograms, and your fee per kilogram. Add a note if you have any restrictions (no liquids, carry-on only).

Step 5: Wait for a booking request. Senders searching your route will see your listing. When one makes a booking request, you receive a notification. Review the item description, weight, and sender profile before accepting.

Step 6: Arrange the handoff. Message the sender to agree on a meeting time and public location before your travel date. Weigh the package yourself. Take photos of the sealed item. Confirm the handoff in the app.

Step 7: Deliver and confirm. At the destination, contact the recipient and deliver as agreed. Upload a delivery photo in the app. The sender is notified and confirms receipt.

Step 8: Get paid. Escrow releases immediately on confirmation. Payment reaches your account based on your chosen payout method, typically within 1 to 3 business days.
